Prior to his current role, Dave owned the famous tackle shop Brighton and the marina wall for 45 years. Brighton marina is one of the largest sea fishing venues in the UK, particularly during the summer when it is overflowing with anglers. Dave and his team professionally handle the influx of anglers, teaching them and sharing their knowledge to help them learn angling. Their welcoming and friendly approach makes it a great place for fishing and a home away from home. Dave’s expertise is crucial in running the organization smoothly.
Dave’s reputation precedes him in the sea fishing tackle industry, with many big brands seeking his advice. Although he doesn’t produce any tackle himself, he generously shares his experience and advice with tackle companies, such as Power Cast Tackle. Dave’s input has been instrumental in the development of the company’s surf rods, the “Marine” and “Marine cast”.
